What is an Action?
When you record a memo that includes a clear request — like "send the recap to the sales channel" or "email James about the Dot launch" — Vibe AI turns that request into an Action and carries it out for you.
Actions are sourced from Memos. Memos can come from:
Spark on Vibe Dot (press and hold the Record button while speaking)
A single-speaker recording on your phone in the Vibe AI app (see How to record with your phone via Vibe AI app)
Memos without a clear request won't create any Actions.
Before you start: connect your apps
Vibe AI can only act in apps you've connected.
Make sure your Vibe AI app is updated to version 1.8.0 or later.
Open the Vibe AI app.
Go to Settings > Integrations.
Connect the apps you want Vibe AI to work with.
Be specific in your memo. "Send Mia the launch date on Slack" works better than "let Mia know."
Where to find your Actions
On the Home screen of the Vibe AI app (or Vibe AI web → ai.vibe.us), you'll see two sections at the top:
Needs your action — Actions that Vibe AI has prepared but needs one more detail from you to finish.
Handled for you — Actions Vibe AI has completed (or tried to complete), kept as a record.
For emails, Vibe AI creates a draft in Gmail instead of sending it directly. Open Gmail to review, edit, and send it.
Good to know
Editing a memo after it's been processed won't re-run, undo, or update its Actions.
Deleting Actions permanently removes the record, but won’t undo the Action if it’s already been completed. The source memo is kept.
Vibe AI never performs risky actions such as deleting files, changing permissions, or making payments — even if you ask. Risky Actions will be rejected.
